ensuite bathroom. Verandah views of the vineyards, Ballandean
valley and the surrounding hills, provide stunning views.
Sunsets can be absolutely spectacular. Our guest wing has
a comfortable lounge with surround sound audio/video. Sip
your new favorite wine beside the log fire. The dining room
is intimate, providing the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a scrumptious
breakfast. Or choose a 3 course candlelight dinner, by arrangement.
Rebecca loving prepares all meals from scratch using local
fresh produce. For the musically inclined, visit Steve’s fully
equipped music studio.

Only
2 ½ hour drive from Brisbane, Ballandean Lodge is in
the center of Granite Belt Wine Country. More than 20 wineries
are within 5km of the Lodge. Girraween, Bald Rock and Sundown
National parks are also close-by. Each season has its uniqueness,
with Summer being much cooler and lower humidity than the
coastal areas. Autumn and the apple harvest along with fabulous
changing colors of the leaves. Winter is popular as the chilly
mornings and mystical fog creates a unique scene. The wild
flowers in Spring are brilliant. Local birdlife is fascinating
year around.
